Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams will be co-producing Mission: Impossible 4. Paramount Pictures is eyeing a 2011 release date.
Production, though, will definitely be delayed by the busy schedules of the persons involved. Abrams will be working on a Star Trek sequel, while Cruise will do a movie with Cameron Diaz for 20th Century Fox.
Abrams hasn’t decided yet on whether he will direct the movie or will just co-produce. He wants to see the finished script yet before deciding on it. No writers, though, have been assigned yet.
