Billy Mays is Dead

The OxiClean Guy has passed away. 50-year-old Billy Mays, who is popular for his "yelling" style of pitching his products, was found unresponsive by his wife Deborah at their Tampa, Florida home Sunday morning. Emergency workers pronounced him dead by 7:45 am.

Billy Mays was at the U.S. Airways flight that made a troubled landing Saturday. He was even interviewed by Tampa Bay's Fox about it. "All of a sudden as we hit you know it was just the hardest hit, all the things from the ceiling started dropping. It hit me on the head, but I got a hard head," he narrated.

Reports say that Billy Mays was at home around 6:00 pm the previous night. He was acting fine and normal while talking business with his father-in-law.

His wife Deborah told investigators he wasn't feeling well before he went to bed around 10:00 pm Saturday.

Another head trauma case ala Natasha Richardson? There are some speculations about it but the real cause of death cannot be known until after the autopsy.

Those who watch Discovery Channel's "Pitchmen" will surely miss Billy Mays.

MJ's Bodyguard is an Icon's Son

Who would have believed that the son of the great actor, Marlon Brando, would end up being a bodyguard to the King of Pop?

Yes, Miko Brando, the son of Marlon Brando, was the long time bodyguard of Michael Jackson. Miko's mother is the Mexican-American actress Movita Castaneda, Marlon's second wife.

The Ark of the Covenant Is In Ethiopia

The Ark of the Covenant is the sacred container of the Ten Commandments, as written in The Old Testament. The Ark of the Covenant is said to be made of wood but is covered with gold. On to of it are two cherubs facing each other with outstretched wings to form the throne of God. Aside from the tablets where the Ten Commandments were originally written, the Ark is also said to contain Manna, the mythical food that the Israelites fed themselves while wandering in the desert.

The Ark of the Covenant has long been the subject of searches and studies for a long time. Even its weight have been argued upon, ranging from 180 to 8,000 pounds.

It seems, though, that the searches and studies and arguments are about to end. That is, if what the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia says is the Ark of the Covenant, is really what they claim it to be.

Abuna Pauolos already met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican City to tell the news about the presence of the Ark in Ethiopia. Pauolos also says that it will be revealed to the public today (Friday).

Many believe that Emperor Menelik I, son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, brought the Ark to Ethiopia. Menelik I was Ethiopia's first Jewish emperor.

Pauolos says the Ark has been in Ethiopia for centuries and he has seen it with his own eyes. Few highly qualified persons has also seen the Ark and now they're revealing it for the public to view.

I just wonder what took them long to show it, or to say that it's even there. Let's just hope that it's not a hoax.

Jeff Goldblum Dead?

So it's not just Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson who are dead, but also Jeff Goldblum?

Jeff Goldblum is most known for his roles in the movies Fly and Jurassic Park. In the midst of news about the death of the Michael Jackson, news about Goldblum's death also surfaced, saying that the actor fell 60 feet while filming a new movie.

But then it turned out that it was all a hoax. According to Twitter's copyblogger:
Once a year some idiot celeb blogger will run that story. I've seen it happen year after year, same site, same NZ death.

The rumor has also been denied by Jeff Goldblum's publicist. EW.com says:
Reports that actor Jeff Goldblum has died are completely false, his publicist confirms. The erroneous information, prompted by an Internet hoax, started to leak out on Thursday afternoon amidst news that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson had both passed away. His publicist has issued the following statement: "Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue. He is fine and in Los Angeles."

Michael Jackson Dead at 50

The King of Pop Michael Jackson, who was slated to do a series of 50 concerts in London beginning July 13, died at the UCLA Medical Center at the age of 50.

Jermaine Jackson says it's believed that Michael died of cardiac arrest, but the real cause of death would only be known after an autopsy. Autopsies, as well as robbery-homicide investigations are required in high profile cases.

Paramedics were called 12:26 pm, June 25th, to the pop star's rented home in Holmby Hills. According to several reports, Michael Jackson was not breathing when the paramedics arrived. They performed CPR, and the doctors at the UCLA Medical Center where the singer was brought tried to resuscitate him for more than an hour.

Michael Jackson's mother and some of his brothers gathered at the hospital to wait for the news on his condition.

Michael Jackson started singing as a kid with his brothers as the sensational Jackson 5. But he rose to greater fame as a solo artist. His 1982 album, Thriller, still remains as one of the bestselling albums of all time.
